No, I still can't figure out the point of Jaiku. Or Twitter.

Socio-Personal MicroBlog (SPMBĀ®) was a great way to put it, though.

You mean you've never gotten the feeling "this I would like to share with my friends now" or "I wonder where my friends are now and what are they doing there"?

I really like the location part of Jaiku, not so sure about the precense posting... I believe introduction of channels will make that more important when people can create them self.

All in all, it's a very interesting and peculiar thinggie.

Well.. I tried it, I did it, but .. er .. no?

If there's something I need to share with a friend, I'll do it by phone or sms, if all of my friends were here and read the thing, it would serve a larger purpose.

Maybe my life just isn't that full of interesting things.. :,,(

most of the posts on Jaiku are utter crap and producing more and more of it to the net is hardly justifiable, but occasionally (very seldomly) it turns into gold.

for me the things that make me use Jaiku are: 1) location information 2) rss aggregation from different sources 3) occasional gem among the Jaikus and I have plans to use my Jaiku-feed as a part my webpage (if it ever gets done)

    Twitter I never got :)

well, almost. it just lacks the finesse of Jaiku and location, rss-aggregation... (at least I didn't find them when I tested it)
